A sequel to the original Nekromantik (1987) shown at our festival three years ago. Monika desperately tries to hide her feelings of necrophilia from her new boyfriend, but still has pieces of the corpse of the first movie‘s hero in her possession. Shot in amateur conditions in Super-8 format this is pure underground with aspects of trash, subversion, shock, social criticism and black humour. Both films can be seen as alegories to the contemporary numb society. Lots of body bonking, assorted gross outs and a spectacular finale.
