Once upon a time there was a beautiful maiden who dwelt in a great old house. A demon enamoured by the maiden took the shape of a man and created a bed upon which the two would consummate their love. But the maiden died and the demon's eyes shattered in grief spilled tears of blood upon the bed. From that blood a life sprang, and with this life a hunger… The bed becomes a living predator which consumes anyone unfortunate enough to rest upon it.
