The original [Rec] came as an unexpected surprise hit of 2007 not only in Spain, but at the festival circuit as well. With [Rec] 2 directors Paco Plaza and Jaume Balagueró have done what very few before them have managed. They've returned to the world that they created, significantly expanded on the mythology of their original creation while still remaining true to its spirit and they've done it all while kicking ass.
