Every kid deserves to have a clown at his birthday party. And being the responsible parents to our ten-year-old shockproof little darling, we invited not just one, but a whole bunch of these naughty rascals in garishly coloured costumes. Released in 1988, Killer Klowns from Outer Space was the unbelievably loopy brainchild of the Chiodo Brothers, the special effects whizzes best known for their work on Critters (1986). In the movie full of crazy humour and wonderfully inventive set pieces the said Klowns land on Earth with a plan to cotton candy cocoon the hell outta the human race. And fun times are had by all, except for those who die. This is some seriously deranged camp-stuff! Is there anything scarier than a clown?
