Czech amateur horror scene is a beast of its own. And like every living creature it needs blood to thrive. One of the tireless talents providing the red stuff is Karviná based director Lukáš Bulava, whose latest effort Sour Breath caught our attention. A loving throwback to the times of video stores, voice-over dubs and school gangs, it tells the story of a group of horror enthusiasts making their own amateur scary movie. Soon it turns into their worst nightmare as the evil doctor Karpi makes his appearance... A surprisingly fresh and professional piece of work.
