Take a dash of Sean Cunningham’s Friday the 13th, blend in a hint of John Carpenter's Halloween, sprinkle in a healthy pinch of Saturday Night Fever and you may end up with a yummy cocktail very much like the 1980’s Prom Night, in which a bloodthirsty maniac is killing off students on their senior prom. Starring slasher queen Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen a.k.a. Frank Drebin from the Naked Gun series, the film has it all: juicy killings, some nudity and one of the most outrageously tacky disco-dance scenes ever – featuring Jamie Lee herself – to top it all off. It’s also a murder mystery that has the audience guessing who the murderer is. And this is where our interactive element comes in. Taking inspiration from the cheesy Czech TV series Sins for Father Knox, we will stop the screening at one point and have YOU guess, who the culprit is. There are prizes to be won! And now you have enough clues to decide whether you want to join us for this murderous disco extravaganza. See that girl, watch that scene, diggin’ the Dancing Scream Queen!
