What the bejeezus is going on in the sleepy little Lovecraftian town of Potters Bluff? The seemingly peaceful community is suddenly being plagued by a series of grisly murders and it's up to the town sheriff (with a little help from the local mortician) to put a stop to them. From the creators of Alien, terror brought down to Earth and straight to Aero to open our All Souls’ Day Shockproof Special. And you are in for a real treat. Very creepy, very effective and very underrated, Dead & Buried is one of the forgotten horror gems of the 80s. Co-written by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett (hot off Ridley Scott’s Alien) and sprinkled with a hefty dose of Stan Winston’s startling gore and make-up effects, this peculiar blend of old-school atmospheric spine-tingler and a vicious video nasty still packs a punch today. Guaranteed to get you in the proper funeral mood. Go ahead and visit Potters Bluff. We dare you!
