Rejoice, for our beloved masked mascot is back, except that he isn’t. Though billed as a Santo film, Santo: Infraterrestrial is actually a vehicle for the Son of Santo, who took over the identity and the silver mask to carry on his late father’s legacy. And has he done his papa proud. In the film, he has to fight some aliens who are living beneath Earth's surface, causing harm to humans and endangering the very life on our planet. So there you have it. Santo’s new adventure has all the ingredients one would expect – wrestling, monsters and lots of madcap action, all done in the same old as-cheap-as-possible way. God bless the Son of Santo for he’s a true chip off the old block!
