Who sows the wind reaps the storm. And in 1990, director Charles Philippe Moore sowed a particularly stinky case of trapped wind. His B-grade horror about a haunted hut in the middle of nowhere represents a late attempt to cash in on the 80s wave of demonic horrors such as Evil Dead, Night of the Demons or Lamberto Bava’s Demons. Unfortunately, his work is just about as cohesive as the greenish vomit, that constantly keeps pouring out of the mouths of the malevolent demons on screen. Test your shockproofness and come to the screening, where you will see the film in the only tolerable form – dubbed live from stage into Czech by Kafilerie Zawadská and Immanuel Lubrikant. Can you think of a more diabolical way how to learn Czech?
