Lycan Colony stems from the same vile cesspit of self-indulgent madness and demented naivité, which also spawned Birdemic or The Room. But it reaches far beyond the “so god it is bad” category into the realm of sheer WTF.

There is no point of retelling the story of the film, since it would rob you of the head-exploding adventure of piecing together the insane lore of the small town of Canisborough, which features angsty teenagers, AA meetings, shamans, atmospheric anomalies, orchids, pigs and of course a wide variety of werewolves. Not even the craziest plot twist can compete with the levels of cinematic artistry on display here. We are talking naive DIY cinema in its purest form, unobstructed by any form of traditional film rules or talent. Lycan Colony is a non stop barrage of filmmaking incompetency and naivistic incontinence.

A true One-Man-Show effort, this hilarious abomination was directed, written, produced, shot, edited and many more by Rob Roy, an amateur cinematographer, special effects enthusiast, cosplay creator, musical artist and even a failed one-time beer video blogger. Together with his family, neighbors, thor pets and some of the finest wanna-be metal bands New Hapshire had to offer he created a masterpiece, with the perfect IMDB score of 1.7.
